First wave of Clebran speakers announced!

Clebran & Clebran on The Trail

This year’s Clebran programme, Looking towards home, explores topics that lie at the heart of life across both nations: language, identity, environment, agriculture, housing, migration and shared cultural traditions with discussions rooted in the experiences of communities on both sides of the Irish Sea.

Clebran and Clebran on the Trail programme to be announced in September.

Beyond the musical happenings, your wristband also includes unlimited access to Clebran. Taking place at Mwldan in the heart of Cardigan, this discursive strand of Other Voices Cardigan brings together artists, advocates, thinkers, and policy makers from Ireland and Wales to explore some of the most important topics of our time, offering fresh perspectives and capturing the imagination.

Clebran will run throughout the festival, with even more to be announced soon – keep your eyes peeled!

After a successful debut last year, Clebran on The Trail returns, offering intimate chats around Cardigan, where musicians and performers discuss their creative inspirations and personal passions.

Your Music Trail wristband grants unlimited access to all Clebran discussions. Clebran is co-curated by Ireland's Edge.

New for 2025: All wristband holders can attend Church performances on a first-come, first-served basis. Each artist will have a designated slot, with the Church cleared between sets to give as many people as possible a chance to attend. A paper version will also is also be available from the Hub when you collect your tickets.

Many of our venues are intimate with small capacities. This is part of the Other Voices Cardigan magic. If you’re really keen to see a certain artist then we advise that you get to the venue early for the best chance of a place. Many of our Music Trail artists will play twice over the weekend, so you’ll often get more than one chance to see an act.
You will need to collect a wristband from the Other Voices Hub before you can enter any Other Voices events.
You will NOT be able to access events using the confirmation on your phone.
We have a limited number of tickets at £10 for under 18's. Please check with individual venues for their policy on admission for minors (which may change later on in the evening). You will not need a wristband for babies in arms (aged two and under), but please be advised that these gigs can be loud, late, and busy, so parental discretion is advised.
All but two of our venues (Upstairs at The Angel and The Cellar) have level access. In the event that we programme an act in a venue that is not easily accessible, we always schedule an alternative show with the same act in an accessible venue.
Cardigan is small, but perfectly formed! There is only a short walk of just a few minutes between venues, so you can fit a lot in. Many of our Music Trail artists will play twice over the weekend, so you’ll often get more than one chance to see an act.
