Meet Ahmet, a teenager from an isolated farming community in the North Macedonian mountains who’s been forced to leave school to look after the family sheep. Ahmet worships his neighbour Aya like a goddess; she has lived in Germany but is back to be married off to an older man in the village. Ahmet is bashful and adorable; Aya is worldly-wise. To help Aya practise her dance routines, Ahmet turns DJ, pimping his tractor with speakers.

This totally charming coming-of-age movie makes serious points but does so with kindness and a mostly sunny worldview - authentic, warm and moving.
