Omar Sosa and Seckou Keita - SUBA

Omar Sosa ac Seckou Keita - SUBA CD

Rhif Catalog: BENDI8
Dyddiad Rhyddhau: 22 Hydref 2021 (wedi eu rhyddhau'n fyd-eang)
Mae Cefnfor yr Iwerydd yn gwahanu Cuba a Senegal, mannau geni priodol Omar Sosa, y meistr piano, a Seckou Keita y pencampwr kora, pellter sy'n cael ei leihau gan eu cysylltiad hynafol ar y cyd ag Affrica. Pan gyfarfu’r ddau yn 2012, roedd Seckou yn hoffi Omar am ei ysbrydolrwydd cerddorol, tra bod Omar yn gweld y gallu eithriadol yn Seckou i gydweithio heb golli ei hunaniaeth. Cafodd eu halbwm cyntaf Transparent Water (2017) ei alw’n ‘beautiful, rhapsodic... spiritual’ (Songlines) a ‘mesmerizing, evocative and sofaistic’ (World Music Central).

Mae SUBA, ail albwm Sosa a Keita, a gafodd ei recordio yn ystod y cyfnod clo a chaiff ei ryddhau ym mis Hydref 2021, yn emyn i obaith, i wawr newydd o dosturi a newid go iawn mewn byd ôl-bandemig, pwysleisiad dwys o weddi tragwyddol ddynoliaeth am heddwch ac undod.
