Following a phenomenal sold-out event in 2023, wristbands are now on sale for the fifth edition of Other Voices Cardigan, the Wales–Ireland music and ideas festival inspired by the renowned Irish music series, which takes place  31st October – 2nd November this year.

Over three days, Other Voices Cardigan will showcase another glorious line-up of musical and cultural events in intimate venues and atmospheric spaces throughout Aberteifi, hosted by Huw Stephens and presented in partnership with Mwldan and Triongl.

The festival programme will be formed by three core strands: a three-day Music Trail programme around the town showcasing the best of emerging Irish and Welsh talent, three days of inspiring discussion as part of the Clebran Sessions, and two nights of intimate live headline performances in St Mary’s Church from some of the music’s brightest voices.

What does a Music Trail wristband include?

Your wristband will get you into around 80 Music Trail events across the town and the Clebran sessions and costs just £35 at our early bird price. The price increases to £50 on 1st July. Tickets are sold on a non-refundable basis. The live performances in St Mary’s Church will be filmed for TV in a closed environment and as with all Other Voices filming, tickets for the filming cannot be bought. Buying a wristband enters you into the draw to win tickets and be part of the audience for these special performances. Purchasing a festival wristband is your best way to get access to a show in St Mary’s Church. More on this here. The St Mary’s Church events are also live streamed simultaneously to a cinema screen in Mwldan which can be accessed with your Music Trail wristband. They are also live-streamed worldwide on the night online via Other Voices’ YouTube and other social channels. A limited number of wristbands for under 18’s* will be available at £10. Please refer to the individual venues for their policy on under-18s in licensed premises.Capacity is limited across all venues, so entry on the night will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Your booking confirmation can be exchanged for your wristband at the Other Voices Cardigan festival hub which will open at Mwldan the week of the festival. More information about the lineup and event access will be sent out in the coming months ahead of the event.
