Billy Bragg @ Castell Aberteifi - Cardigan Castle

Billy Bragg has been a fearless recording artist, tireless live performer and peerless political campaigner for over 35 years. Honoured with the PRS Outstanding Contribution to British Music award at the Ivor Novello awards in 2018, he is regarded a valuable statesman.

The intervening three-and-a-half decades have been marked by a number one hit single, having a street named after him, being the subject of a South Bank Show, appearing onstage at Wembley Stadium, curating Leftfield at Glastonbury, sharing spotted dick with a Cabinet minister in the House of Commons cafeteria, being mentioned in Bob Dylan’s memoir, writing two non-fiction books (the second, Roots, Radicals & Rockers, was shortlisted for the Penderyn Music Book award) and meeting the Queen.
