The society was formed in 1992 and is dedicated to furthering the arts in the interest of the local community. Fishguard Art Society focuses its attention on the various cultural activities in the local area and for the enjoyment of all. The society is enjoying a growing reputation for the quality and diversity of its presentations and exhibitions that attract entries from all over West Wales. The main activities of Fishguard Arts Society centre around the annual ARTSfest in Fishguard which is an Easter arts festival and covers a wide range of arts activities including the visual arts and crafts, literature, dance, drama, music and film.
