fforma is a group of visual artists living and working in the Aberystwyth
area of west Wales with the collective agenda of promoting contemporary
art in the region. Founded in 2000, its membership, which now stands
at 23, comprises of well established artists such as Mary Lloyd
Jones (who was largely responsible for the group's instigation),
teachers of art practice, and recent graduates from Aberystwyth's
School of Art. This current show is of recent work and follows on
from two well received exhibits at The Welsh Museum of Modern Art
at Y Tabernacl, Machynlleth, and St David's Hall in Cardiff.
